Crowborough Shield is a non-political, voluntary residents’ group dedicated to protecting the interests, wellbeing, and long-term future of Crowborough and its surrounding communities. Formed in response to issues that directly affect local people, we exist to ensure that decisions impacting our town are made transparently, responsibly, and with proper regard for those who live here.

We empower residents by providing clear, accurate, and evidence-led information, enabling our community to engage confidently and constructively with local and national decision-makers. Where necessary, we challenge poor process, lack of accountability, or decisions that fail to reflect the needs and concerns of Crowborough’s residents—always firmly, respectfully, and in the public interest.
